Pizza Hut needed a facelift and had to attract a younger audience. There was a new vibe, new menu and new rules – ‘Taste Freedom’ was born. We kicked out the old look with a new TV ad.
We created a look that matched the new restaurants. An energetic new tone of voice appeared on retail posters.
And before long, we had a distictive brand identity.
The brand also came to life in digital spaces.
We even told our audience where to go.
And pissed off Piers Morgan on national TV with our new Vegan Pizza slogan, ‘Cheat on meat’.
We also turned off the neon to announce restaurant refurbishments.
We offered people freedom from the early Christmas chaos via social and OOH. And an app that knew exactly where Xmas shops, markets or lights were and told you how to escape to the nearest Hut.
And one of our creative teams found a more minimal way to express the brand on digital OOH and display ads.
